To install PadLock for Windows you should:

* Use PKZip to uncompress the zipped file into your Windows directory. 

* Run PadLock by selecting File Run Padlock.exe from the program manager.
(If everything was installed/decompressed correctly, you should see a padlock bitmap beside of the minimize button in the Program Manager's caption area)

* Press the mouse down on the Padlock button and a menu will appear.

* Select Lock Options from the menu.

* The default password is 0000. (Type this in the grey box)

* Now click Change.

* Type in your new password twice.

* Click the Change Now button.

* Now select the "Lock Level" from the Lock Options screen. (If you need additional help, press <F1> or select Help from the drop down menu)
